Future Library Committee
Location and Current Use
Bailey Library is the campus library housing 500,000 volumes and an extensive Instructional Materials Center -- all with information available through the library's online catalog. A computer lab, reading room, reference room and study carrels are available throughout the library. Also housed in this building are the Office of User Services, Academic Support Services and Telecommunications and Networking.
Building History
The building was constructed in 1971 and was dedicated to Dr. Matilda Bailey, a very popular English professor at Slippery Rock University.
